Creative Remembering Ritual - written summary and invitation to move beyond provocation
Slow down, before the speed up. Rhythms of stillness and movement.
Hello Lovelies,
This week is a beautiful invitation again.
An invitation to use Creativity to shift, what is heavy.
To ask for permission to put down, which doesn´t belong to you.
To reconnect to your guilt-free and unrestricted joy.
And to observe, notice, contain, alchemize and recharge.
The arch this week offers:
Full Moon: release, what you don´t need to carry anymore.
Jupiter in Leo: own, who you are and amplify your light.
Mercury retrogade in Cancer: opportunity to stop playing things in your mind, move your thoughts from your head to your heart, rely on your ability to feel to shift what has been holding you back
Gate 52: Choose a simple form, which can keep you away from stress, overthinking, overstimulation, giving all your energy away and find your stillness, your blissful being in it. Observe, allow, release the resistance to just being. And see what kind of a rhythm is being born from that place. (From Stress to Stillness via Restrain.)
Gate 39: The blocks are being shown to you in forms of triggers or reflections from the projections. Either 1) you can be triggered by others shining light on parts of yourself you reject or protecting yourself of the painful experience of looking at it. Or 2) you can be faced with others being triggered by your way of being, expression, different choices nd perspectives. That is just proof of the same process. Has nothing to do with you. It is their case of 1).
Can you look at the discomfort as way of: finally I can see the stone I have been falling over every time I went on the same path. I remember the stumble, the pain, the thought “I should remember this next” - but every time I went by, there was nothing to see, so I could not know when exactly I have to change the path or raise my feet a little higher. Now finally I can see it is a stone. It is there. How amazing! I can just make a decision on what to do about it: move it out of the way? Step over it? Go further away from it?
How big is it really? Is it as huge that you have reason to be afraid of it, change your whole direction? Is it a real danger that can fall on you and crush your bones? Or is it just a tiny pebble. Are you surprised by the size and the significance of it compared to what you imagined?
Being triggered can make us act so many ways:
we can freeze, being completely stopped in the flow of our day, repeating the conversation again and again hoping something changes, we find an angle, which justifies us and so the discomfort goes away
it can make us act out, we can feel some parts of us being exposed involuntarily and we desperately want our control back
we can go to others looking for validation, telling our perspective in order to release the pressure of us potentially staying silent, when the situation has happened
or we can suppress it all, and get our attention busy with something else, so we don´t need to feel, see, think about the whole
I have tried all of these. And the essence of handling triggers differently is not in blaming yourself for falling into these behaviours. The progress is in how quickly you realize it happening and make a different choice of response.
This process requires 1) awareness, 2) tools and 3) capacity.
Back to our little stone metaphor…
Seeing the pebble or rock ahead of you (awareness) is not a sign to stop definitely. It is an opportunity to choose a way to move through. It gives you an opportunity to assess it.
You have gathered many tools during the years and might be on the look-out for new ones. Seeing the pebble and remembering that you can jump it over - and knowing that your body is able to jump, because you have learned it and practiced it - enables you to move on and continue your journey easily. Is it a bigger rock? You might need to go around it, maybe it requires you to touch it, climb on parts of it, interact with it.
Is it a huge one, a whole wall blocking the whole way? Seems like you either need to find another way this time around (which requires assessment of your energy and resources for discovering a whole new path) or you would need serious climbing training and equipment, if you wanted to continue this way…Maybe here it is a great time to ask for help, somebody might know a different way and can tell you what you need. Maybe somebody have already placed a rope and bolts and can lend you the equipment and be there to hold you as you climb up and over?
Different stones and obstacles on your path require different ways of getting through them and continuing the journey. But they are not there to stop you fully. They are there to challenge you and develop you further. Every mountain climbed made you remember how strong you actually are. And every pebble hopping counts too.
This GeneKey 39 goes from Provocation to Liberation via Dynamism. I hope you see how provocation can make the stone/obstacle visible, inviting you to trust that you can move through it and choosing movement and dynamism, the returning of flow can lead to more trust and feeling of nothing can really stop you forever. You can use the knowledge you already have, the tools you have gained, the help available or raise your capacity, so that in the right time you continue walking on the path. Isn´t that freeing to know, that things (outside and inside of you) can not stop you forever, they might just be asking you to pause, reassess, learn and grow?
One of the tools I am offering here with the Creative Remembering Ritual is to channel that energy - which has been accumulated and pressing you from the inside or making you feel discomfort - into riskfree and curious self-connecting act.
This weeks archetype of the Hummingbird/ Magician - supports this week´s energetics so beautifully. It brings lightness, balancing out whatever might be happening on the surface (a trigger appearing in an everyday interaction) or in the depths as a result of that (you reinforcing made-up stories about yourself and playing it over in your head). It invites you to put some music on and model that you can move beyond obstacles, you can jump, you can sway, you can climb etc.
Your body will help you. You only need to trust yourself. The Hummingbird is also the archetype, where I like to work with lineage. Going both ways. Elders and inner child.
So I would invite you to trust your inner child, her/his playfulness, curiosity, freedom, carefree movement, experimental approach. And let her guide your painting.
And you are welcome to invite your ancestors and ask for permission to stop carrying, what they have carried. And ask for their knowledge, their tools, their practices and wisdom to help you. The traces of that runs in your veins and energy too. Not only the burdens, but the capabilities, the keys to unlock doors, which might appear only to you.
Here you can listen and replay the Ritual from Monday - talk, instructions (25 mins); painting 1,5 hours:
Creative call: Tapping into movement and Rhythms.
enhance rhythm with music, create patterns following a movement
create an outline of an area and fill it out with a pattern and then move on to another area and fill that out with a different one
alternate different scales and lines with organic figures
move beyond resistance with a new color, new brush, turning the canvas and keep following what appears with the new input
Energetic message of the week from me to you expressed by the painting:
Have a beautiful week, balance your energies and give yourself space, so you can access your capacity and you can remember your magical tools and move beyond those exposed “stones” on your path. <3 ✨
Love,
Réka :)
